Personable Objects
This set of five objects was done for my Sculpture II Class. The faces on the coffee maker and the toaster were CNC milled out of foam and the rest were 3D printed with a Makerbot.
The purpose of the objects is to illustrate the trend of technology in mundane consumer goods. What if you could simply talk to your coffee maker to tell it what type of coffee you wanted. This sounds cool in concept but would be pretty unnecessary.
